Dear 7th Grade Parent(s),
I would like to welcome you to a great 2013-2014 academic year here at Maria Regina Catholic School. I am very excited to be part of this great school community. My name is Mrs. Vanessa Robbins and I have been teaching English and Literature to junior high students for the past nine years. I will be teaching math and science this coming year.
I am very pleased to be part of this great team where the focus is in developing the whole child, where spiritual growth and a strong academic program is the focus to building our future leaders.
I believe that parent-teacher relationships are necessary for maximum school success. Throughout the year I will communicate with parents through notes, telephone calls, emails, report cards and parent-teacher conferences. I encourage you to contact me if you have any questions or concerns at any time. You can call me at school or send me a written note in your child’s agenda.
Establishing good classroom discipline is essential to each child’s success, confidence and well-being. Every child should feel that the classroom
environment is safe and secure; free from all threats of physical or emotional harm. In addition, it is important that each child learn to develop self-discipline and good work habits, to resolve conflicts peacefully, and to think independently.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Vanessa Robbins
